Today we realised our ambition of building a riding house in our barns here in Sudborough. The riding house surface is being laid as we speak and will be ready for training by the weekend.

As you can see from our new address we have a new home nestling in the Northants countryside beside a medieval hunting park. With outstanding views and rides it is the one place you should visit this year!

We hope you can join us at Hastings this year! The event has an all new look and we hope that it will be doubly entertaining for all of us who partake in the Battle event every year.

Historic Equitation took part in the ground breaking Tournament of the Kaisers in Sankt Wendel Germany. This was possibly the most authentic tournament to take place in 500 years. See all the glorious action here:

After a very hot week competing in hunting skills games and jousting for both individual and team titles Dominic emerged as the rider with the highest individual jousting score. Unfortunately the previously unbeaten English team were beaten by 1 point by the riders representing the Holy Roman Empire. However, a good week was had by all with all of the horses and riders performing well and looking forward to attending next year.

As the British summer finally gets underway HE competed at Kenilworth castle as part of English Heritage`s Knights Tournament events.Appearing in three finals and winning two Dominic emerged the overall victor of the weekend.

In Yorkshire on the 25th of June Steve Mallett rode one of Dominic's horses in the Olympic torch relay to Princess Beatrice as part of a medieval event promotion at Harewood House.
